One Sunday each month, TAPAteria prepares ‘Paella on the Patio’. The Paella changes each month and features local growers as well as imported and local meats. Paella is a special event and reservations are necessary. They fill up fast, so get your seats now. In order to offer you more from your Monday School Night experience, we have started offering the classes every other Monday through the summer. This May, Paige Karcher from Unity Selections will be back on Monday, May 9th with more Spanish wines for you to sample. Staci Blair from Veraison will be here Monday, May 23rd, to treat you to a variety of tasty wines including a fantastic summer wine that is perfect for Sangrias and patios (both of which TAPAteria has!)
Not only do you get to eat and drink during class, you will be expertly educated on wine varietals, regions, etiquette, and history. Each Class is $20 per person and includes samples of 3 wines, beers, liquors, or other treats from our suppliers and teachers matched with samples of tapas paired expertly by our own chefs. Monday Night School at TAPAteria is a great way to meet new friends, sample tasty food, and enjoy some libations from around the world. Each week, we feature wines, cavas, liquors, or beers in an intimate setting along with chef’s choice paired tapas. While enjoying the food and drink, a speaker will give you the history of the featured products. This month, we are looking forward to hosting Staci Blair from Veraison and Paul Gorman from Breakthru Beverage. Our own Ken Walker will talk about his homemade ginger ales and the amazing cocktails you can create by using them, and more. This is one class you don’t want to skip!
